Frome Agricultural & Cheese Show is a popular one day agricultural Show held at The West Woodlands Showground on the outskirts of Frome.

For 2009 we welcome back Lesley Waters in the Rangemaster Cookery Theatre.

Fresh new and exciting entertainment has been booked for this years show, with new acts appearing such as The Devils Horsemen performing "The Wild West Show" and "The Cossack Trick Riding Show". Experience an outstanding display of practical horsemanship and cold courage; a story of adventure, drama, ambition and harsh justice. You will burst your sides laughing at the antics of Smokey Joe and his whiskey guzzling horse. Meet 'The Cowboy', whose courage in the saddle is matched by no other. Make sure you don’t miss this daring display of horsemanship.

Meirion Owen and the "Quack Pack" will be with us also this year. He appears regularly on TV and radio. This display Meirion will give an informative, humorous commentary and will be aided by dogs and some maybe co-operative, maybe unco-operative ducks (as the mood takes them). It promises to be a most entertaining, truly impressive, amusing event.

Making its first appearance at Frome Show will be the Wylle Valley Pony Club Games where the children will demonstrate their skill in some fast, fun games.

Also in its own ring is a dog agility show where dogs will perform a round of agility, obedience display, a jumping challenge and many more shows which will also involve the general public and their dogs.

If sitting and watching entertainment is not for you then why not visit our many shopping avenues around the Show, or our unique handcrafted products in the many Rural Craft Halls.

There is also an inviting food area to sit, relax and unwind and try some of the scrumptious food from our Catering outlets around the show. We are very proud of the amazing selection of food and drink on offer in the Fine Food Hall. Our Local Food Hall is a new addition to the show which houses local produce from suppliers within a 25 mile radius of the showground.
