Frome Agricultural & Cheese show is a traditional show with many competitions for the whole family to enter.
The Homecraft & Handicraft section has over 90 classes in catergories such as Handicraft, Art, Photography, Childrens and Homecraft.
The Horticulture section has over 80 classes in catergories such as Display Exhibits, Fruit & Vegetables, Childrens, Floral Art, Flowers & Pot Plants, Dahlia & Chrysanthemum.
The Egg section has 24 classes in catergories such as Hen Eggs, Duck Eggs, Childrens Classes & Photgraphy.
The Fodder & Grain section has 20 classes for crops such as maize, silage, hay, wheat, barley and much more.
The Sheep section has 39 classes incorperating breeds such as Suffolk, Continental, Longwool, Shortwool, Shetland, Primitive (rare breeds), Heath/Hill (rare breeds), Down/Shortwool (rare breeds), childrens classes, Butchers lambs and Commercial Ewes.
The Horse section has over 40 classes in the following catergories:
Ridden Hunter Classes - Qualifiers for South West Pony
Show Jumping - Qualifier for the Royal Bath & West Senior Open Championship
Private Driving - Qualifier for Osborne Refrigerations BDS National Championship
Mountain & Moorland Classes - Qualifiers for South West Pony & National Pony Society
Coloured Classes - Qualifiers for The Coloured Horse & pony Society
Veteran Classes - Qualifiers for The Veteran Horse Society
Working Hunters - Qualifiers for the South West Pony Association
Mountain & Moorland Working Hunter Pony - Qualifier for the National Pony Society.
The Cattle section has over 150 classes in breeds such as Dairy Shorthorn, Holstein, Ayrshire, Jersey, Guernsey, Any other recognised dairy breed, Dexter, Hereford, Aberdeen Angus, Beef Shorthorn, Devon (Ruby Red), South Devon, British Limousins, British Simmentals, British Blue, British Charolais, Commercial Beef and many more.
The Goat & Pygmy Section has different classes available to enter.
The Cheese Section has classes available in Farmhouse Cheese, Creamery Cheddar (Uk and Open), Territorials, Speciality Cheese, Blue Cheese, Presentation, Export, Retail and many more.
